Findon 1st XI were again skippered by Jack Metters as James Iago was absent. Ifield won the toss and elected to bat. Graham Manser and Gary Howell bowled very economically at the start with as Ifield were just 9-1 off 7 overs. Gary was unlucky not to pick up a few more wickets as a couple of tough catching chances were put down off his bowling. Findon were made to regret these missed opportunities as their opening overseas batsman scored 124 after his slow start. Ifield declared on 203-6 off 50 overs. Findon replied very well as Bradley Bridson (39) and jack Metters (38) had an opening stand of 61. Glen Bridson (52) and Daniel Bridson (28) then put us into a very good position as we needed around 45 runs to win with 10 overs and 6 wickers remaining. Graham Manser then saw Findon over the line in the final over as he hit an unbeaten 28* off 26 balls. Scorecard >>>>>>>>>>. http://findon.play-cricket.com/scoreboard/scorecard.asp?id=1136212045

The Under 18’s picked up the second victory in as many games on sunday as they beat Eastergate away from home. Findon batted first and the top/middle order did not set the platform they would have liked as they were around 100-7 with 13 overs to go. However Glen Bridson (67) once again held their innings together scoring his sixth consecutive Under 18’s fifty as they finished on 163 all out. Matt Spokes (14) and Carrig Conelly (8*) provided good support for Bridson late on. Findon then responded to a disappointing batting performance with a brilliant bowling performance lead by Jack Woods and Matt Spokes. Matt Spokes went for just 11 runs off his 7 overs before Curtis Howell (5-14) then picked up his first career five wicket haul as he destroyed Eastergates reply. Carrig Conelly also picked up 2 wickets. http://findon.play-cricket.com/scoreboard/scorecard.asp?id=11465550
